Jacqueline Fernandez

Jacqueline Fernandez is a Sri Lankan model, actress and model most of her time in the Indian film industry. Her 2006 Miss Sri Lanka Universe title was also won by her. Fernandez she is of Canadian, Sri Lankan, Malaysian and multiracial descent, spent most of her growing up in Bahrain. After receiving a mass communications degree at the University of Sydney, she worked for a time in Sri Lanka as a television reporter for several years before beginning to enter the world of modeling. She became one of Sri Lanka's top models when she represented her country at Miss Universe 2006. As of 2009, on her professional tour to India she was offered the role of Jasmine in Sujoy Ghosh's film 'Aladin'. It was in 2011 as she was the lead female role in Murder 2. Fernandez enjoyed a successful career in the aftermath of this film which was both a success in the theaters and the reviews. Since then, she has appeared in films such as Housefull 2 and 3, "Race 2," "Definition of Fear' as well as Judwaa 2. She has won multiple accolades and is an representative for several global companies. She's a dedicated citizen of the community who is a supporter of many organizations and causes.
