Angela Sun is an American journalist and presenter of television, sportscaster, and documentary filmmaker. Angela Sun is a multi-award winning journalist, sportscaster and producer. Her education includes Communications and Sociology from the University of California. Sun was a pro at surfing. After participating in a few pro-am surfer competitions, she was endorsed by Roxy Reef Billabong Vans and various other major brands. The recognition she got due to this fact was like a slingshot to propel her into the entertainment business. Later on, she went on to become a filmmaker, reporter for investigative reporting and sportscaster. Sun is a former anchor, who worked for various news channels. She worked for Fox Sports Net as a reporter from 2003. She also been host of American Ninja Warrior alongside Matt Iseman and Jonny Moseley in the year 2012. Sun hosts The Yahoo Sports Minute for the season 2014. She was the first Asian American to have her name featured as a host on ESPN Fox Sports Yahoo Sports, Tennis Channel and Yahoo Sports. Sun has become an accomplished actress and has appeared in numerous films, has gained fame for her talent. She worked on movies such as Goliath (2016) and hit the Floor(2014-2016) An Ideal Getaway(2009) Shackled (2005), Street Kings (2008) and Glowsticks and Drumsticks (2004). Sun's 2014 feature length document Platic Paradise The Great Pacific Garbage Patch was a movie about the effects of plastic pollution on the oceans. She composed, directed, and produced the film herself.
